William Shakespeare was born April 22 or 23, 1564 at Stratford. His Farther was John Shakespeare and his mother was Mary Arden. When he was seven years old, he entered the Free School in Stratford where he learned a little Latin and Greek. After study about six years, he was removed from school and apprenticed to a butcher. After that, he was obliged to marry with Anne Hathaway. There have 3 children. He was not happy with his wife. Sir Thomas Lucy inspired him to write his first literary work. Then, Shakespeare was leaving his family behind, and soon he worked in the theater at menial jobs.
By 1592 Shakespeare was an actor and produced his first play. That is Henry VI, Part One. The success of the play led to Parts Two and Three. After that, Shakespeare became famous person. He ever acted in a play of unknown authorship before Queen Elizabeth. His famous poet is Romeo and Juliet.
Shakespeare died on April 23, 1616. A monument to him has since been built in Poets Corner of Westminster Abbey.
I think he has a sad life story. I wonder about his family, what happen to them in the end.
