China UnionPay opens cross-border payment services for HK residents
China UnionPay Co. Ltd. (CUP), It was opening services that would allow people in Hong Kong to pay their bills, that have in Shenzhen by using their CUP credit cards. It was the first time credit card payment services between the Hong Kong and ShenZhen. The services open for the convenience of CUP cardholders who usually traveling between the two cities. They are also planning to begin the CUP debit cards in this year. CUP is the only one who controlling bankcard service in China, so it is very famous for people who usually travel to other counties. Many countries in the world also accepted the CUP cards.
In my opinion, I never have a credit card because my aunt told me that I might purchase a lot of things. My family teaches me to save my money. Chinese people may like these services because of convenience. I wonder why CUP is the only one who controlling bankcard service in China, then CUP would earn a lot of incomes.
